Article marketing and SEO work so well because they are global. You can be anywhere in the world and earn money. I could in fact be halfway up Everest with a laptop and satellite connection for example. Or I could be working in the International Space Station now that they have internet (although I hope the guys and girls up there now aren’t focusing on promoting Acai berries to middle age Americans). The point is, article marketing and SEO in general works everywhere, the same for everyone all the time.

But what if you want go deeper then that? What if you want to promote party goods to Canadians for Canada Day, or promoting to Germans for German Unity Day, ja? Or even if you want to promote specific cafes around the Pyramids for example?

Well then, if you’re low cost and budget like me and love article marketing and SEO you will be happy to here that you can still use your favourite forms of marketing in this situation as well.

Picture yourself in a strange country, the one that you want to promote to. Now, what would you type into the search engines if you want to find out something that is relating to your niche market? It could well be that you are after cafes in Sydney so it could be something as simple as ‘cafes in Sydney’. Or you could even add in specific streets or areas that you want to focus on. That’s now your keyword to use in article marketing and your SEO marketing!

The great thing about this is that is works almost flawlessly. People who are searching for your specific stuff will now find it easily. After all, this also means that you are going to be targeting something so specific that only your target customers will be reading it. I’m not interested in Sydney cafes unless I am currently in or am planning to visit Sydney sometime soon.

There is another little trick as far as SEO is concerned. You know those country specific domain names? Like New Zealand has.co.nz for example and Australia has.com.au. Well, Google and the other search engines usually weight these sorts of results higher in the searches when they come from that location. In the same way that I can simply enter something here and get New Zealand tinted results, this will work anywhere else. Also, include the country and even city in your website title, or just on your website. I can search for ‘library’ in Christchurch (city in NZ) and the first results is the Christchurch libraries website – a.com!
