I met Tom at a Dani Johnson convention a couple of years back, and I can say from personal experience that I’ve never met a better phone sponsor (sorry Mike Dillard).Tom’s coaching has it’s strengths, but also it’s inherent limitations.
Who is Tom Challan?
Tom Challan is an extraordinary MLM recruiting coach who works in close conjunction with Dani Johnson. He is one of the most successful recruiters of all time, personally recruiting more than 500 distributors in one year into his primary business while working only 20 hours per week. Tom independently owns and operates a lead generation company called Earn Pro Leads, and also offers On The Job Training to his students.
What does he teach?
The three fundamental areas of Tom Challan’s teachings are prospecting, closing, and outsourcing. It used to be that Tom’s recruiting classes were in sync with Dani Johnson – and he was charging $297 per class. Tom’s classes are composed of live role plays – predominantly prospecting and closing, followed by personal coaching. Dani Johnson is now personally offering the classes again, and Tom is more focused on building his lead company and doing his weekly OJT calls.
He has a simple, direct prospecting method that is comprised of basic open ended questions, listening, and following up with a simple script. He has a fundamentally different recruiting approach – abandoning all ‘canned pitches’ in favor of natural conversation.
Tom’s method is unique in the world of MLM. Tom actually outsources almost all of his training to Dani – and ALL he does is prospect and close over the phone.
In one year, Tom Challan grew an MLM organization from start to 20,000 people while working only part time.
Is Tom Challan the real deal?
I actually got to have several personal conversations with Tom Challan in 2008 over several Dani Johnson events. I’ve actually never met someone who has studied with Tom Challan for a long time who has not been successful in their business.
I would have to say that Tom is one of the best examples in the MLM profession.

Tom recommends doing a majority of your recruiting from purchased leads. Now this approach has worked for some (like Tom Challan and other gurus), however it is expensive and frustrating – usually lacking in any real results.)
